Biography

Dr. Ding Guqiao, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Head of the Joint Laboratory of Graphene Materials and Applications. He began his research on graphene in 2009 and filed his first graphene patent in 2010. He has published over 200 SCI-indexed papers with more than 10,000 citations and an H-index of 60, with many of his papers featured in materials journals such as *Adv. Mater.*, *Adv. Funct. Mater.*, *Chem. Mater.*, and *Carbon*. In 2015, he ventured into the industrial development of graphene technologies. In 2018, in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Yueda Group, he co-founded Zhongke Yueda (Shanghai) Materials Technology Co., Ltd., where he overcame the entire technological chain from graphite to graphene oxide to graphene thermal conductive films, achieving the transition from laboratory research to pilot-scale and then to mass production and application. Currently, Dr. Ding and his research team are striving to achieve the large-scale preparation of graphene materials with exceptionally high monolayer ratios, high lattice quality, and controllable lateral dimensions, and on this basis, to promote the application and development of graphene in fields such as information technology, energy, and biomedicine.
