Biography

Professor Li Tiehu, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and National Second-Class Professor. He is a member of the Discipline Appraisal Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Graphene Novel Carbon Materials and Their Applications, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of *Carbon Techniques* (published by the Chinese Society for Metals), an editorial board member of *New Carbon Materials* (published by the Chinese Academy of Sciences), and an editorial board member of journals including *Carbon* and *Coal Conversion*. His research focuses on the teaching and research of novel carbon-graphite materials (including graphene) for aerospace applications. He has completed and is currently conducting over 30 national and military research projects. He has received four provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievement awards (first, second, and third prizes), one National Teaching Achievement First Prize, and one Provincial Teaching Achievement Grand Prize. He has published over 300 papers, including 12 papers in top international journals such as *Nature*, *Science*, and their sister journals. Over 200 of his papers are indexed in SCI, and 22 are ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has cultivated 8 postdoctoral fellows, 58 doctoral graduates, and 135 master's graduates for the country.
